How to Make Sweet Asian Chili Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Here are the instructions to make one of our favorite chicken wing recipes.

Begin by seasoning the wings with garlic salt and seasoned salt. Then, prepare a mixture of milk and egg in one dish, and a blend of flour, cornstarch, cornmeal, and spices in another. Dip the seasoned wings into the milk mixture, followed by the flour mixture, pat ensuring they’re evenly coated.

Next, place the coated wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray them with olive oil. Cook at 375°F for 12 minutes, then flip the wings, spray with olive oil again, and cook for an additional 12 minutes. For a total of 24 minutes of cooking time.

Once cooked, toss the wings in sweet Asian chili sauce in a large bowl until coated. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for a finishing touch. Serve immediately and enjoy the crispy goodness!

Feel free to customize this recipe to suit your preferences. You can adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less chili sauce, or experiment with different sauces altogether. Try BBQ sauce for a tangy twist or buffalo sauce/hot sauce for a classic flavor.

Another variation is to serve with a variety of dipping sauces like ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, or other sauces. And don’t forget to serve with a side of carrots and celery sticks.
