Instructions
Layout your cups or containers that you’ll be using. We used 9 oz cups so we needed 6.Depending on the size of the container will determine how many you’ll need.
Using a stovetop tea kettle or the microwave, heat 1 c of water until boiling. In a medium size bowl, combine the cup of boiling water with the lemon jello. Stir until dissolved.Pour in 1 c of cold water and stir until combined.
The mixture should just be warm to the touch and can be poured into the container. We measured out ⅓ cup of lemon jello for each container.
Transfer the jello cups to the fridge for about 2 hours, or until set.
Once the yellow has begun to set up, you can begin making the orange jello.

Transfer the jello cups to the fridge and allow to set for an additional 2 hours or until completely set.
When ready to serve, prepare a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Transfer the Cool Whip to the bag and pipe a large mound on top of each orange layer.
