Honey Garlic Salmon (Soy Free)

Ingredients

  • 16 oz salmon cut into 4 filets
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil divided
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Season filets with salt and pepper and cayenne pepper. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix honey, apple cider vinegar, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Set aside.
  • Heat remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil and garlic in a skillet, cooking until garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the filets to the pan, flesh side down. Cook for about 3 minutes then flip, skin side down. Pour glaze over top.
  • Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork.
  • Once done, remove from pan and let rest a couple minutes. Top with fresh parsley for garnish. Serve with your favorite side dish and enjoy!
